![]() Worse case just the M and B on Phase Switching (OOP) Almost a transparent finish, where the SE has solid color paint on it.If just working on the SWITCHING side because two VOLUMES lolĪnd 3 2P2T switches i can give you the WORLD As it is, the 41 that is on it makes the strings kink before they go into the locking nut, and as you can see in the picture, the low E side is already chipped off/out a little because of it. The slot on the guitar will take a 43 mm nut with no problems. The Torino has me listening for it, and there is a big difference between these active EMG's and the Duncan Designed pickups in the Torino.įixing the two hinges on the case should be just drilling the old rivets out, and using new pop rivets. It is hard for me to make a call on the pickups so far. ![]() It will set up way down in shredder range. The action will set up low enough that I am too heavy handed with it, and I make it buzz. I think I will have to contact them and ask some questions. Several guitars with basswood bodies are among my favorites, like the VM 70's. Interesting also that the current descriptions all say the bodies were Alder.īasswood doesn't bother me in the slightest. It does not have a coiltap, and it has EMG pickups in all positions. The guitar has a face mounted jack, not the side mounted jack from the pictures or description. More when I can actually tell you something about this one. Trying to play it is useless, since the minute I get it in tune, it is out three or four notes later. Looks like springs, strings, a nut, check the stud inserts, and a set up to return it to the way it should be. ![]() It has a 41 mm nut that does not even reach the ends of the slot in place on the neck. Since they were made in the same place, about the same time, I am going to assume the trem springs going bad in them is to be expected, and I will replace them all. Same exact reason why I got the SE 250 that went out of tune the minute you tried to play it. There are not enough springs on the tremolo to keep it in tune, or the springs have died. Oddly enough, it is the exact same reason I got the SE 250 as cheap as I did. ![]() Well, the strings are dead, and I now know why I bought it so cheap. ![]()
